GRACE DISBROWE Peacefully with her family by her side, Grace Disbrowe of Winnipeg, formerly of Berens River, MB on March 15, 2005, passed away at the age of 85 years. Grace leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter Shirley Abraham; son Alvin Disbrowe and adopted son Wayne Disbrowe; grandchildren whom she raised, Rolanda, William and Yvonne; other grandchildren, June (Harrison), Rhonda (Cliff), Kim (Russell), Earle, Albina, Gerald, Warren, Tachie, Alma, Neil, Lawrence, Brian, Valerie, Margaret, Melvina, Barbara, Charlotte and Tina; numerous great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Grace was predeceased by her parents, Roderick and Sarah McDonald; husband Alfred; sister Lillian Everett; son Robert; daughter Thelma; and four great grandchildren. Grace was born on Sigurdson Island and was raised in Berens River. She lived and worked in Winnipeg as a health care worker. Grace enjoyed baking, loved cats and raising her grandchildren. Grace will be always loved and remembered. Special thanks to the Seven Oaks Hospital, ICU staff, Jeff, Lorraine and Wendy; Pastor Richard Sanderson of Bread of Life Ministry and Emery Marsden for all their spiritual support and also the Anderson Family Funeral Home. Wake service on Thursday, March 17 at 7:00 p.m. at Bread of Life Ministry, 1338 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB. Wake services on Friday, March 18, Saturday, March 19 and Sunday, March 20 at 7:00 p.m. at Berens River House of Prayer, Berens River, MB.
