Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN (JACK) MUNRO COOK On Tuesday, March 15, 2005, just short of his 80th birthday, Jack, beloved husband of Beth Cook, passed away at Kin Place Personal Care Home in Oakbank, MB. Jack was born in Moose Jaw, SK on April 22, 1925. He grew up in Gravelbourg and South Plympton, just south of Dugald. There he farmed with his dad and brother, Ken. Jack and Ken operated a trucking business for many years. Everyone Jack met became his friend. After his retirement, he enjoyed visiting with neighbours and friends. Jack is survived by his beloved wife Beth of almost 55 years; his brothers, Ken (Eleanor), Ronald (Elisabeth) of Montreal; his sisters, Anne (Del) Percy, Margaret (Dennis) Hadaller, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Fergus. The family would like to express sincere appreciation to Dr. Jeff Wiebe, and to the staff of Eastgate Lodge, Beausejour and Kin Place Personal Care Home in Oakbank for their care and compassion. In accordance with Jack's wishes there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place and interment will follow at a later date. If friends so desire, a donation to Kin Place Personal Care Home, Oakbank or a charity of choice may be made in Jack's memory. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
