Art's career was in the trucking and construction industry and he continued to operate heavy equipment into his 83rd year. In retirement Art spent his time as a handyman for his family, which kept him occupied full time. He was an active member of the Legion, volunteering many hours. One of his hobbies was playing guitar along with Betty Dancyt and Arnold Urban entertaining the seniors in the region. Art also loved hockey and was a dedicated Lac du Bonnet Blues fan. The family would like to thank Dr. Greyling and the nurses at Pinawa Hospital for the exceptional care they provided our Dad. A special thanks to Joyce for being there for Papa through thick and thin. A celebration of a life well lived will be held at the Lac du Bonnet Community Centre on Monday, March 21 at 2:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
