EDNA NEWTON PARRIS, R.N. (nee KEMP) October 9, 1913 - March 16, 2005 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Edna, at the St. Boniface General Hospital, on Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at the age of 91 years. Born in Eastbourne, U.K., Edna immigrated to Canada in 1982. Edna leaves to mourn her sister Peggie Trainer; nephews, Patrick (Liz), Shaun (Darlene), Michael (Karen) and Glenn (Debbie); niece Carol Parry (Keith); great-nephews, Derek, Phillip, Ryan, Kyle and Evan; great-nieces, Danielle, Tracy, Erin (Michael) and Megan. She was predeceased by her father George Kemp; and mother Sarah Kemp. A celebration of Edna's life will take place at a later date. Our family would like to thank Dr. Wollner and Anna and all of Edna's home care personnel. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Edna's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3.
