WILLIAM (WAYNE) LEDUCHOWSKI June 29, 1948 - March 17, 2005 It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our husband and father, Wayne Leduchowski at the age of 56 years. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Margaret and his two sons, Chris (Paula) and Cory (Liane). He is also survived by his mother Ruth; sister Sharon Champagne; brothers, Murray, Norm (Renee), Brian and Ken. He also leaves to mourn his in-laws, Albert and Hazel Yule, Bev (Mark) Wire and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father William. Up until his illness Wayne was actively employed with M.T.S. where he had worked for over 28 years as a cableman. He enjoyed his work and the camaraderie he shared with his fellow workers. Wayne enjoyed the Rolling Stones and Studebakers but his number one love was being with and helping his family. Wayne will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humour and his love for life. His family is very grateful to all the wonderful nurses and staff at CancerCare Manitoba, in particular Dr. Ralph Wong and Denise Campbell. Also, to the friends and family who were so supportive throughout Wayne's illness. A special thanks to the fire and paramedic crews for their quick response, kindness and professionalism. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. All Wayne's coworkers at M.T.S. should consider themselves honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wayne's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6. You will always be with us Silver Fox - we love you.
