JAROSLAW HULKEWYCZ After a lengthy illness, on Thursday, March 17, 2005 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Jaroslaw Hulkewych, beloved huband of Machalena. Jaroslaw was born March 15, 1912 in Ukraine and immigrated to Canada in 1941. He was employed with CP Rail as a brakeman until retiring in 1977. Jaroslaw was a member of Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral. He loved to garden and was especially proud of his prized tomatoes. Left to cherish Jaroslaw's memory are his loving wife of 58 years Machalena; son Walter (Judy) and their children, Sharon and Colleen; daughter Angela Preston (Doug) and their children, Mark and Michele. He was predeceased by his baby daughter Laurissa in 1955. Prayers will be sung at 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 21 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Divine liturgy will be celebrated Tuesday, March 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral, 115 McGregor St. with Fr. M. Kouts officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Special thanks to doctors and staff of 5-U3 of Seven Oaks Hospital.
