Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET WISLEY passed away peacefully at home on March 18, 2005 at the age of 89 years, two months before her 90th birthday. Margaret was born on May 4, 1915 in County Galway in the South of Ireland. Margaret lived her early life in Ireland and Edinburgh, Scotland, moving to Canada in 1982 to be with her family. She spent many years in Brandon, MB where she lived at Lions Manor. In 1998, Margaret moved to Winnipeg where she lived at Amber Meadows retirement residence. In both places Margaret had many good friends and shared many special memories. Religion was very important to Margaret, especially her Bible study classes which helped her grow strong in her faith. She was a very caring and loving person who had the ability to listen and understand. She had a wonderful smile and the ability to enrich the lives of those around her. Her greatest joy was her family and her grandchildren. Margaret will be missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Lyn and husband John Shupeniuk of Winnipeg and four grand-children, Karyn and her fiance Rob, Scott, Steven and Michael Shupeniuk. She is also survived by one brother and two sisters in Ireland. She was predeceased by her late husband William Forbes Wisley S.S.C. of Edinburgh, Scotland; their daughter Deborah; parents, Mary and Patrick Kearney; six sisters and one brother who all lived in Ireland. Following cremation, the funeral service will be held at Memories Chapel, 330 - 18th Street North, Brandon, on Tuesday, March 22 at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Joan Jarvis of Central United Church will officiate. Interment will follow in the Rosewood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Margaret to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 3 - 824 18th St., Brandon, MB R7A 5B7.
