ALICE BUSH (LANGAN)

Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE BUSH (nee LANGAN) January 4, 1916 - March 19, 2005 Peacefully, with her daughters by her side, mom passed away at the age of 89 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Doreen (Ron) and Loretta; grandchildren, Carla (Roger), Jennifer (Paul), Catherine (Paul), and Chris; great-grandchildren, Brett, Evan, Kaylen, Cameron, Leigh, and Aidan; sisters, Emma St. Germain and Della Brazeau (Paul) from Roblin, MB; brothers, Mark and Clifford; and special friend Juliette Delorme; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Alice was predeceased by her husband Edward; brothers, Ted, Albert, Marcel, Jules, Emile (Charlie), Lennice; and two infant sisters. Mom was born in St. John, ND, and as a child, moved with her family to Boggy Creek, MB. As an adult she moved to Winnipeg to find work. For years mom was employed as a cook at the Central Park Lodge and Thorvaldson Nursing Home. She was well known for her skill in creating delicious meals that were enjoyed by many. We will miss her favourite saying - Have something to eat. Her grandchildren were a special joy in her life and their visits brought her much happiness. A funeral service celebrating Alice's life will be held on Tuesday, March 22 at 11:00 a.m. in the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date. A special thank you is extended to the nurses and staff of the St. Boniface Hospital, and also to Grandma D for her friendship and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mom's memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 1101-191 Lombard Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3B 0X1.
