Remaining to cherish her memory are her sons, Ronald, Alvin (Beverley), Audie (Jadzia); granddaughters, Cheryl (Alf Weber), Wendy (Barry Fadden), Angela Stupak, Diane (Mark Prydun); great-grandchildren, Amber Neufeld, Courtney Fadden, Wyatt Fadden, Madison Fadden, Drew Weber, Rachel Weber, Tianna Prydun, Natassia Prydun; also three sisters and many in-laws. She also leaves behind her special niece Lorraine (Richard Baker), nephew Richard Rogoski (Kim), numerous other relatives and friends. Mom was predeceased by her husband Mike (1986), infant daughter Adeline (1937), granddaughter Debbie Chubinski (2003) and special friend Peter Blahut (2002); also three brothers and one sister. Mom was born March 16, 1917 in the R.M. of Brokenhead, MB. She grew up there and married Mike Stupak on October 20, 1935. They bought and cleared 160 acres of virgin land in Green Oak, MB. They moved with their three sons to Winnipeg in 1950 but still continued farming and gardening on their homestead. Dad worked for the City of Winnipeg while Mom stayed at home and raised their family. Mom was known for her cabbage rolls, perogies, borscht, cakes and pies. They loved picking blueberries and mushrooms. They enjoyed many fishing, hunting and camping trips throughout Manitoba. They travelled to Florida, Texas, California, Mexico and across Canada from east to west. They enjoyed playing cards with their friends and relatives. In 1987 she accompanied Ron and Nina to Hawaii. In 2003 Mom moved from her home in St. Vital to Vista Park Lodge. Our family would like to thank the staff at Vista Park Lodge for their patience and kindness in caring for Mom. Our sincere thanks to the doctors and staff at the Victoria Hospital. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, March 23, at 10:00 a.m. and mass to follow immediately after at St. Andrew Bobola Church, 541 Marion St., with Fr. Jan Spyrka officiating. Interment will follow at Transcona Cemetery, Dugald Road and the Perimeter Highway. Pallbearers are Richard Baker, Barry Fadden, Kaz Leszczynski, Richard Rogoski, Ted Szajer, and Alf Weber.
