Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCECILIA HELEN NEIL (nee BROWN) Passed away on Friday, March 18, 2005 at Credit Valley Hospital, at aged 85. Mrs. Neil was born March 16, 1920 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the second of five children of Frederick and Sarah Brown, who were both born and raised in England. She grew up in Winnipeg, married Vernon at Elim Chapel, in June of 1941 then moved with her husband and their first two children to Ottawa in 1948, where she raised their family of four children before the family's eventual move to Mississauga in 1965, where she became an accomplished rug hooker. Mr. and Mrs. Neil lived during retirement in Burnaby, BC for eight years but returned to Mississauga in 1996 to be near family. Beloved wife for 62 years of the late Arthur Vernon Neil (Chartered Accountant). She is survived by her four children, Ralph (Bonnie) of Brantford, Barbara (Timothy) McCabe and Jennifer (Rudi) Sagl, both of Mississauga and Deborah (Marc) Saulnier, of Ottawa; five grandchildren, Stephen and Kate Neil, Nicholas, Matthew and Max McCabe and ten great-grandchildren. Three siblings also survive her: Charlie, Marjorie Johannesson, Ray. She was predeceased by one brother Fred. A funeral service will be held at the NEWEDUK FUNERAL HOME MISSISSAUGA CHAPEL 1981 Dundas St. W., (1 block east of Erin Mills Pkwy.) on Tuesday, March 22 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Springcreek Cemetery, Clarkson Rd., Mississauga.
