Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL GEORGE BUHR at the age of 77 years, finished his work here on earth and went on to be with the Lord. Our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully into the presence of his heavenly Father after losing his battle with cancer - in the early morning hours of March 18, 2005. He is survived by his loving wife, Matilda (nee Friesen). Paul and Tillie were married on June 27, 1957. God blessed them with three daughters, Bonita Perkins, Penny Johnson and Jacqueline Loewen; two sons, Charles and Jason; eight grandchildren, Luke, Candyce, Brett, Lacey, Olivia, Gina, Reese and Kobey. He is also survived by seven of his 11 siblings, John, Ed, Agnes, Abe, Kathleen, David and Henry. Predeceased by four siblings, Bill, Doris, Ben and Lydia. He found pleasure in his family and worked hard to build his successful career as a residential builder and contractor. He loved life! We will miss his sense of humour and energetic lifestyle, while looking forward to meeting together in heaven one day. A memorial service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 23 at 2:00 p.m., with reception to follow. Tillie this is July 2017. I wanted to apologize regarding the contents of my phone call years ago after Paul's passing. It was a very stressful time and was pretty desperate at the time. But it was the wrong time for you and I do apologize. Hope you are well and that you get this as I did not find a no. to contact and this was on my mind !
