LENORA (NORRIE) CHARITY MACKAY SANDERSON Peacefully, with her family by her side, on March 20, 2005 at Riverview Health Centre. Survived by her children, Chris, Mike (Christine), Steve (Peggy), Pat (Kelly); grandchildren, Lori (Grant), Sheena (Lawrence), Jen, Kyle and Tyler; and great-grandchildren, Drake and Chase; and special friend Bob Doll. She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1986. Mom was born in Toronto, July 15, 1920 and married Bill January 5, 1949. They moved to Pinawa in 1964 and then Lee River, near Lac Du Bonnet in 1969. Mom moved to Winnipeg in 1992 to be closer to her family. Mom's real passion in life was her family and her children's friends who all loved her as their Mom. She also enjoyed her pet cats, croquet, birdwatching, reading and watching baseball, especially the Toronto Blue Jays who she watched since their origin. The family wishes to thank the staff at Pinawa Hospital and a very special thank you to the staff at Riverview Health Centre, 3 West for their incredible care and compassion for Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Cremation and a private family celebration of her life were Norrie's wishes.
