MATTHEW J. SHOEMAKER 1982 - 2005 It is with great sorrow that our family informs you of the sudden passing of Matt Shoemaker, the eldest son of Kent and Shelley Shoemaker (Kreye) of Invermere, BC and brother to Dan, Nolan and Leah. Matt died March 17, 2005 in Winnipeg, MB. Matt is survived by grandparents, Marge and Roy Kreye; Don and Bonnie Kreye, Sara, Zoey; Ross and Jeannie Kreye, Emma; Joan and Tom O'Toole, Ashley, Erin, Lea. Matt was born in Calgary, AB and spent his childhood years between Calgary, Edgewater, Los Angeles and Invermere. After graduating from DTSS in Invermere, Matt moved to Calgary to attend SAIT. He later moved to Winnipeg where he was studying at the University of Manitoba. Matt was a lover of animals, a golfer, a great basketball player and a computer wizard. Matt will be lovingly remembered for his warmth and love of his family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A service will be held to celebrate Matt's life at 12:00 noon on Friday, March 25 at the DTSS theatre. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Matt's memory to the Invermere Public Library, Box 989, Invermere, BC V0A 1K0.
