Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET BOWLBY (nee REID) April 26, 1915 - March 20, 2005 Margaret was reunited with her life partner Howard on Sunday, March 20, 2005, just five weeks before her 90th birthday. Margaret was born and raised in Winnipeg and she grew up on Kylemore Avenue. In 1936, she was united in marriage with Howard and they moved to Lipton Street where they raised their family. Margaret was a hairdresser and operated her own shop with a loyal following of friends. Howard and Margaret enjoyed their cottage at Winnipeg Beach and their winter home in Weslaco, TX. Family and friends were a big part of her life and her memory will remain in our hearts forever. Loving memories of Margaret will be cherished by her daughter Diane (Brian) Johnstone and her son Don (Suzanne) Bowlby; grandchildren, Michelle, Brad Johnstone, Terence (Laura) Bowlby and Adrian Bowlby; and great-grandchildren, Julia and Jenna. After a lengthy stay at a Winnipeg nursing home Margaret will once again feel the sun on her face, the wind in her hair and see the wonders of life as she watches over us from above. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 24 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 885-9715 Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca
