Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET ISABEL (PEGGY) BRAUTIGAN December 2, 1915 - March 20, 2005 Peggy Brautigan, aged 89 years, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2005 at St. Joseph's Hospital ECU in Comox, BC after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, William Bill Brautigan. Peggy is survived and will be sadly missed by her sons, Douglas (Donna) of Winnipeg and Bruce (Helen) of Courtenay; her grandchildren, Cynthia, Darren, Tammy, Daniel, Michael and Emma; her great-grandchildren, Carly, Stacy, Brendan and Connor; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. After Bill's retirement, Peggy and Bill would spend summers in Minaki, ON and winters in Texas. In her leisure time she enjoyed sewing, crafts and reading. Peggy liked to socialize, playing cards or having parties when she and Bill were younger. She was a generous, considerate lady with a good sense of humour who was well liked by all who knew her. A service in memory of Bill and Peggy will be held in Minaki at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD, COURTENAY, B.C. If friends so wish donations in Peggy's memory made to the Alzheimer Society, Suite 300 - 828 West 8th Ave., Vancouver, BC V5Z 1E2 would be appreciated.
