Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryORVILLE JAMES (JIM) WATSON February 28, 1928 - March 22, 2005 Peacefully, on March 22, 2005, Jim passed away at the age of 77. Jim was predeceased by his parents, George and Eva Watson; sister Georgina Watson. Jim will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years Geraldine Gerry; daughter Donna (Jim) Morgan; son Geordy (Dianne) Watson; grandchildren, Bobby (Karen) Morgan, Shannon Morgan, Jeffrey Morgan and Glenna Watson; sister Alva Cooke and niece Jacqui (Frank) McFarlane. Jim was born and raised in the Fort Rouge area and attended Riverview, Lord Roberts and Kelvin High School. He worked for the C.N. Railway, Winnipeg and Central Gas Company and opened his own business A.B.C. Contractors and Mechanical Services which he operated until health no longer permitted. He was also a member of the Local 254. The family extends their thanks to the I.C.U. staff of Grace Hospital for all their kindness and excellent care, especially John. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 24 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6 or to a charity of choice.
