RICHARD HAROLD BAZILEWICH Peacefully, Richard passed away at Deer Lodge Centre on March 22, 2005 at the age of 57 years. Richard was born January 10, 1948. He was raised on a farm in the Hamrlik district of Poplarfield, MB. He attended Leeland Elementary School and completed high school at the Poplarfield Collegiate. Upon graduating, Richard began his life long career with Winnipeg International airlines, until complicated health issues set in. Richard was a very outgoing person who always enjoyed the company of others. His favourite pastimes included competitive sports, travelling, hunting, camping, golfing, playing the violin and attending social functions. Left to cherish his memory are, sister Margaret and her husband John Chikousky and nieces, Trisha, Nadine and Jacelyn. Richard was predeceased by twin sisters, Rose and Kathleen in infancy (1949); mother Eileen (June 1999); and father Harry (October 1999). Special thanks to family and friends who visited Richard during his extended illness, and to all the staff at Health Sciences Centre and Deer Lodge Centre for the care and compassion given to Richard. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made in Richard's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, R3C 0S6.
