LILLIAN VIOLA RUBY LILBURN LYONS (nee FORTH) Lillian Lyons passed away in her sleep Friday, March 18, 2005, at Park Manor Personal Care Home, at the age of 88. Lil was predeceased by her husband William (1940) who served in the Second World War with the Winnipeg Grenadiers in Jamaica 1939 to 1940. Lil will be sadly missed by daughter Pat (Mike) Dudas of Georgian Bay; and son Bill (Jean) Lyons of Winnipeg; her grandchildren, Bill (Angie) Lyons, Cathy (Rick) Pososki, Rob Lyons, Scott (Kelly) Lyons, Chris (Gabriella) Dudas, Mark (Debbie) Dudas, Carla (Roberto) Soares and David Boyle; six great-granddaughters and 10 great-grandsons; two brothers, Alf (Marguerite) Forth and Ab (Joyce) Forth; sister Betty Hunt; sisters-in-law, Rayda Forth and Jean Forth; and several nieces and nephews. Lil was predeceased by her parents Sarah (1976) and Fred (1980) Forth; her daughter Gerry Boyle (1996); brothers, Jack (1991) Forth, Fred (1994) Forth and Gord (2002) Forth; and two granddaughters-in-law, Jackie (2003) Lyons and Penny (2004) Dudas. Lillian was quite active. She loved to golf, curled with the Senior ladies at the Victoria, Civic Cal and Thistle clubs, and the Senior Mixed at Thistle Club. Lil lawn bowled with Thistle Seniors Alley and with Civic Cal Seniors mix at Polo Park lanes. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway.
