LOUISE MARIE MARCHUK (nee BELLIVEAU) On March 23, 2005, surrounded by her loving family, Louise was welcomed into Heaven by her husband Roy and daughter Iliene. Louise was born September 16, 1923. She lived in Camperville and Winnipeg before moving to Broad Valley with Roy. All her life, she worked side by side with her husband Roy, in all his endeavours. She enjoyed sewing, playing cards, bingo, feeding the birds, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Louise was a lady with great strength and endurance, never complaining and always putting the wishes of others before her own. As a devoted wife, she made sure that everything was completed for her husband and that her children and grandchildren were taken care of and given words of wisdom and advice before crossing the bridge to her eternal rest. One of her greatest assets was her sense of humour, which attracted and entertained all who came in contact with her. Her memory will forever be cherished by her children, Rita Shachtay (Don Durrant), Roland (Julia Kozminski), Linda Sutyla (Brian) and Judy Chyzy (George); her grandchildren, Louise Chicky, Michael, Holly, Rochelle (Barry), Matthew, Raymond, Roland (Betty Ann), Rene (Darlene), Curtis and Anthony; and great-grandchildren, Madison, Todd, Nicholas, Ashley, Thomas and Steven. She will be missed by son-in-law Terry Hudson (Iliene); daughter-in-law Pat Marchuk; and only surviving cousin Alice; brothers, Paul Belliveau (Elsie) and George Belliveau (Joan); and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Louise was predeceased by her husband Roy; her daughter Iliene; her parents, Roland and Rose Belliveau; stepmother Grace and son-in-law Mike Shachtay. The family appreciates the ongoing emotional support and understanding. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Arborg Memorial Hospital and all the people who stopped in to chat with our Mom. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held in Broad Valley Hall on Saturday, April 2 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arborg Memorial Hospital.
