Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHERESE PAQUIN (nee LEMAY) With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Therese Paquin on March 21, 2005, at Tache Centre at the age of 87 years, with her daughter at her side. Therese was predeceased by her devoted husband, Paul in 1999 as well as her brothers, Maurice, Marcel, Jules and Lucien. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Diane and husband Brian Hogberg, their two children, Jessalyn and Larson, whom she adored. She is also survived by her sisters, Juliette Huot, Lucille Gauthier (Georges); brothers, Marcien Lemay (Helene), Pierre Lemay (France) and Paul Lemay; sisters-in-law, Simone Lemay, Doris Morgan and brother-in-law Pierre Paquin, numerous nieces and nephews. Therese was born in St. Boniface and spent all her life there. She was the eldest of 10 children. She married Paul in 1947 and they had a daughter Diane. Her life revolved around her family and her impeccable home. Her greatest joy was spending time with her beloved grandchildren. They will cherish the countless outings and many hours they spent with her and Paul. She lived at Niakwa Park Plaza for 30 years where she enjoyed spending time with many good friends, in particular Bella and Lina as well as her dear sister Juliette. She lived briefly at Catherine Place and most recently at Tache Centre. She will be remembered for her great gentleness, her generosity, her kindness towards others and the love she felt for her family. The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff on 2ABC at Tache Centre for their care and compassion as well as the many home care workers who assisted her over the past six years. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 28 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Private interment at St. Boniface Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation to the Arthritis Society (Manitoba Division), 105 - 386 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R6 or to a charity of one's choice.
