VIOLET SMITH Agnes Vi Smith passed away peacefully in Calgary on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at the age of 79 years. She is survived by her loving family; three children, Louise (Maurice) Lake of Regina, SK, Leslie Woods and Wesley (Gail) Smith, both of Calgary; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; son-in-law Bruce Baldwin; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father John Muntain; brother Clayton Muntain; two daughters, Veronica Armstrong and Jackalin Baldwin. Originally from Melville, SK, Violet was a long term resident of Regina prior to moving to Winnipeg to be with her daughter Jackalin. She cherished her involvement as a CNIB volunteer in Winnipeg and fondly remembered the many friends she made. Interment will be at the Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 815 Assiniboine Ave E, Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation to the C.N.I.B., 1080 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 3M3 may be made to celebrate her life.
