Date of Passing: Mar 21, 2005
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOIS ROSE ROSE (nee EHRHART) Peacefully, after a lengthy illness and surrounded by the love of her family, our precious wife, Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma passed away on Monday, March 21, 2005, at the Grace Hospice, at the age of 74 years. Sadly missed and remembered with loving thankfulness by her husband Gord, of almost 54 years of marriage; her three daughters, Donna and Ed Boroskae, Janice and Rick Hetherington and Lori and Bob Mann; grandchildren, Jamie Cespe (husband Mike), Megan Diogo (husband Joe), Dan Hetherington (wife Judy), Bryan Hetherington (Becky), Steven Mann (Kara) and Kevin Mann (Lucy); great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Eric Cespe, Brett and Samantha Rose Diogo and Ethan and Brooklin Hetherington. Remembering her as well, are her sister-in-law (her sister-in-heart ) Dorothy Shipley and husband Harvey; and many friends and extended family. She was predeceased by her parents, Gertrude and George; brother Raymond and most recently last week by her brother Harry. Lois Rose Ehrhart was born on July 19, 1930. On June 2, 1951, she married the love of her life, Gordon Rose and they soon welcomed their three daughters into their hearts and their lives. We were truly blessed with the most devoted wife and a Mom, whose nurturing and caring knew no boundaries. In later years, she welcomed her three sons-in-law into her life as her own sons. Over the next few years, Mom delighted in the arrival of her beloved six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mom was a very gentle person with simple wants and needs, always putting her family before herself. We have all felt the warmth and depth of her unconditional love and we give thanks for her life. Everything in this world that is decent, honest and true reminds us of her and the blessing she was in our lives. A service of thanksgiving for Lois' life will be held on Monday, March 28 at 2:00 p.m. in St. James Anglican Church, 195 Collegiate St., with Ven. Fletcher Stewart officiating. A private family interment will take place on Mother's Day. Our heartfelt thanks is extended to Drs., Hamedani, Galbraith and Harris, Grace Hospital Oncology Department, the staff of Grace Hospice, Mark Shepard, Kora Otto-Shannon and Mom's home care nurses. Flowers are gratefully declined and donations to the Grace Hospice, 260 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3R5 would be greatly appreciated. HER JOURNEY'S JUST BEGUN Don't think of her as gone away, her journey's just begun. Life holds so many facets, this earth is only one. Just think of her as resting from the sorrow and the tears, in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. Think how she must be wishing that we could know today, how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched. For nothing loved is ever lost and she was loved so much. WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
