ROBERT FRASER July 14, 1936 - March 24, 2005 It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Robert (Bob) Fraser on Thursday, March 24, 2005. Bob is survived by his wife Nadene; children, Vikki, Robbie and Barreh. Bob was born in Thunder Bay, where his passion for hockey led him to play with the Boston Bruins organization and introduced him to the grain industry. He worked for the Alberta Wheat Pool for 21 years where he began in the terminals in Vancouver and rose to Assistant Manager of the Winnipeg office. Bob's appetite for sports kept him busy by coaching the St. James Canadians and in his spare time he enjoyed golfing, curling and restoring classic cars. He will be fondly remembered for his clever wit and sense of humour as well as his love for animals and the outdoors. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 30, 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave., Deacon Alex Drobot officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM 220 Hespeler Ave. @ Henderson Hwy. 668-3151

  • I met Bob at the Action Group in 1989. He helped me out with alot of issues throughout the years. I hadn't seen Bob in a number of years because I was away for five years. Rest in Peace my friend. God saved a wretch like us. - Posted by: Linda Schoffer (Friend) on: Mar 28, 2005
