KAREN PATRICIA HAY The family and friends of Karen Patricia Hay are profoundly saddened to announce her sudden passing in the early morning of March 25, 2005. She was predeceased by her father Dr. A.W.S. Hay of Brandon, MB. She leaves behind her mother and stepfather, Millie and Dan McInnes of London; sister Sylvia Wyse and brother-in-law Alan Wyse of St. George; sister Cory McInnes-Clarke and brother-in-law Will Clarke of St. Catharines; brother Bryan Hay of Fort Frances; brother Rob McInnes of Vaughan; niece Erynn Wyse; nephews, Sean Wyse, Innes and Eli Clarke, Daniel and Nicolas McInnes and Alexander Hay of London; her close friend David Campbell; soul mates and kindred spirits, Martine Beland, Mary-Ann Reid and Doug Paraschuk of Stratford and special friend Michael Ellesworth. She will be sadly missed by extended family members across Canada and the United States. K.P. spent 18 of her 42 years as Head Scenic Artist at the Stratford Festival Theatre of Canada where she touched the lives of thousands through her creativity, hard work and passion for theatre. Her friends and colleagues at the festival will miss her spirit, energy and dedication. Her family and friends would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the ICU at both Stratford General and University Hospital for their heroic efforts and limitless compassion, in particular Dr. MacKenzie, whose strength and support was an inspiration to all. The family will be holding a private memorial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the London Health Sciences Centre - University Campus ICU, London or the Stratford Festival of Canada.   • I had been looking for Karen on Facebook for years. I finally found her information here. We were friends at Bible Camp and wrote to each other for a few years. We had some good times.
