GLORIA MARGARET (HILL) NAGAM
Born: Oct 18, 1952
Date of Passing: Mar 21, 2005
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLORIA MARGARET (HILL) NAGAM It is with deep sadness and unending sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our precious Gloria on March 21, 2005 at the age of 52 years. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 28 years Larry; her dear children Jeffery (Jenn) and Shannon (fiance Christian); adored grandchildren Jarret and Amy; mother Dora and father Bernard; sister Lesley (Conrad); brothers Richard (June), David (Karen) and Murray; nieces Erin and Carrie; nephews Russell and Stephen; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and far too many friends to mention. Gloria was born on October 18, 1952, and grew up in East Kildonan, attending Salisbury and Hampstead Schools, Morse Place Junior High and Miles Macdonell Collegiate. On February 26, 1977, she married her best friend and soul mate Larry, with whom she raised their two children, and shared joy and happiness with them, along with her special dog Buddy . Gloria was a devoted mother and grandma, and a deeply caring daughter, sister and friend. Known fondly to many as Geege , Gee-Gee or Glo , she will always be remembered for her sweet and gentle spirit, her kindness, selflessness and generosity towards others, and her deep love for her family. Gloria loved the company of family and friends, fishing, Sunday dinners, going to the casino, blueberry picking, NASCAR racing, Larry's blush wine, and most of all living life to the fullest with all of its simple pleasures. We will miss your smile that lit up the room, your beautiful eyes, the birthday, anniversary and Christmas cards you always remembered to send, your sense of humour, your fun-loving attitude towards all people and things, your heart of gold, and your hugs. You touched the hearts of every person you met, and in return, you will live on in all of our hearts forever. Thank you for the joy you brought us all. Sleep gently now. We love you eternally. A memorial service celebrating Gloria's life was held on March 26, 2005. Her family would like to extend their sincere thanks to all who attended, sent cards and flowers, spoke such kind words and shared their loving memories of Gloria. Not a day will pass that we will not think of you and remember your smile, your spirit and your love.

Today would have been your 70th B-day. Boy, we would have had a party huh? Miss you every day and when I see you again, we will knock back a Tom Collins and play In-A-Gadda-Da-Vita and yes... I will shut up when the drum solo is on. Love You! - Posted by: Murray (Brother) on: Oct 18, 2022

It is coming up on 10 years now since you left us Mom...and every day is just as hard as it was 10 years ago...it breaks my heart that I have two kids that you have never even met but Jaden has a picture of you and she talks about you often and says she dreams about meeting you. Lexton is still too young but I am trying so hard to keep you alive in his heart. I am a really positive person, and I have to be, because life can be really, really unfair. But I miss my best friend so much, I miss our talks and laughs, our drives and shopping trips, our crib games, your hugs, your smile, your eyes, I miss everything and my heart is forever empty without you...I love you Mom, forever and always... - Posted by: Shannon Nagam (Daughter) on: Mar 19, 2015

My wedding's coming up. It's so lonely and incomplete without you. You're my best friend. I miss talking on the phone, our trips to Walmart, our drives and cappucinos. I think about you every day. I miss you more then words. Thanks for loving me even when it wasn't that easy. I hope you know how much you're loved by everyone. "A Mother is someone who walks in front of you when you need footsteps to follow, Walks behind you when you need encouragement, and stands beside you when you need a friend." Thanks, for all that you were. - Posted by: Shannon Nagam (Family) on: Jun 25, 2005

There aren't words to describe the void left in my heart, Glo, You have always been special and beautiful to me. We have had lots of laughs and cries together and I will cherish them all, always. When I finally moved back to Manitoba, you told me if I ever left you again, that you would kick my butt. Well, Glo, I never ever thought that you would be the one to leave way too soon and unexpectedly. Sleep peacefully and remember the Loons, sweetie. I LOVE YOU, GLO LOVE BON - Posted by: Bon (Family) on: Apr 14, 2005

Auntie Glo, I love you so much and I will always miss you. I am glad you got to meet Bailey, and I will treasure the beautiful picture I got of you both smiling so beautifully. I will always remember our "reunion" at mom's in July '03 and how we cried tears of joy. You know how much you meant to me, and I am glad and proud that I always told you that when we spoke. Watch over Uncle Larry, keep him company in his heart, he misses you more than any of us can imagine. I love you - Posted by: Micki Dutiaume (Family) on: Mar 30, 2005
