FRED ROBERTSON On Saturday, March 26, 2005, Fred Robertson, aged 78 years, passed away at Donwood Manor. Fred will be lovingly remembered by his wife Isobel; daughter Debra (Ed); son Victor (Diane); grandchildren, Robert, Angela, Ryan, Paul and Mandy; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and John; brothers, Bill, Jack, Harry, Sidney, Donald and Victor; sister Lil. Fred was employed by MTS for 33 years and was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers. He was also a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels for a number of years. Funeral service 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 31 at Sparling United Church, 1609 Elgin Ave. W., with Rev. Scott MacAuley officiating. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Fred may be made to Sparling United Church Memorial Fund or to Donwood Manor Personal Care Home, 171 Donwood Dr., Winnipeg, MB R2G 2H9.
