Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJERRY BRUCE MESSMER July 31, 1952 - March 22, 2005 With saddened hearts we announce the passing of our only child, Jerry Bruce. Jerry will be missed by his loving parents, Casper and Carmel Messmer; and his three daughters, Rosemary, Melissa and Jan; and also his buddy Terry Malazdrewicz; and his fellow workers at the post office. Jerry was born in Winnipeg and was raised in Biggar, SK. Jerry's passion in life was music. He was a high school music teacher in Lloydminster, AB, Merritt, BC and Brandon, MB. He enjoyed every single minute with his students teaching them music. They were all a blessing to him. His daughters have always said that they have the very best dad in the world. He was always their for them. He was so very proud of each of them. His parents will miss Jerrry's special way of being so thoughtful, letters, notes, gifts, and books. Each letter or package that arrived were filled with love from Jerry. He was the most loving, thoughtful and wonderful son any parent could ask for. Thank you to the staff at Riverview Health Centre and Fr. Henry for the extra special care of Jerry. Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service in his home town of Biggar, SK, at St. Gabriel's Parish on Friday, April 8 at 3:00 p.m. Reception immediately after in the church basement. Grief is not a sign of weakness, Nor a lack of faith, It is the price of love.
