MARGARET (MAGDA) DANYLCHUK (nee SERAFIN) It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our much beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and sister, Margaret, at Concordia Hospital on Sunday, March 27, 2005. She will be greatly missed by her children: sons, Robert (Cecile), Dan (Rita); and daughter Sylvia Sushnyk; grandchildren, Sandra (Robert) Domish, Gary (Cathy), Amanda and James Sushnyk and Daniel Novak; great-grandkids, Larissa, Mikaela, Nicholas and Dylan who were the sparks in her life; sisters, Anne Smyrichinski, Nettie Monastyrski, Frances Kuchma (Pete) and Jean Capar; sisters-in-law, Frances Serafin, Anne Serafin; nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by husband William; parents, Dymtro and Hanuska Serafin; son-in-law Peter; sisters, Stella Swiderski and Mary Kozak; brothers, Tony, Alex, and John. Margaret was born at Caliento into a big family. When William and Margaret got married, they farmed at St. Malo, moving to Transcona in the 60s. After William's passing, she moved into Columbus Villa, living independently until God called her home. She was a member of St.Michael's Parish and an honorary member of the UCWL. Mom loved her family and enjoyed get togethers. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 31 at 11:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. As Mom could not tolerate the thought of hunger, if wished, donations can be made to Siloam Mission in lieu of flowers. Rest in peace dear Mom and Grandma, we will miss and always remember you.
