MARY MYCHASIW (nee RAGINSKI) On Easter Sunday, March 27, 2005, our beloved mother and grandmother, Mary Mychasiw, passed away at the Park Manor Personal Care Home, at the age of 89. She will be missed by her family. Mary was born in 1915 and married John Mychasiw in 1936. Together they farmed in the Olha district, later making their home in Rossburn, MB after retirement. Mary is survived by her three daughters, Nettie (Metro) Markewich, Evelyn (Mike) Krysowaty and Grace (Reg) Bauch, and her son, Lawrence (Faith) Mychasiw. She is also survived by her six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her husband, parents, son Nelson, daughter Phyllis Pohanayko and two sons-in-law. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 1 at 10:30 a.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St., with Rev. Fr. Michael Krochak officiating. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her father. Our family wishes to express our sincere thanks to Park Manor Personal Care Home and the staff who looked after Mom with such care and compassion, over the last seven years.
