AUDREY MARIE TOVEY (nee DOWNEY) Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2005 at Riverview Health Centre. She will be fondly remembered and missed by her family. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick Chapman; her parents, Patrick Joseph Downey and Elizabeth Downey (nee Coster); and her sister Alice (Joseph) Fullan. Audrey leaves to cherish her memory, her son Tom (Claudette) Fullan, granddaughter Danielle (David) Kolton and grandson Jonathan Fullan. She will also be lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Tate and Nathalie. Audrey was born on June 7, 1916 in Toronto, ON. She worked for 30 years at National Trust Incorporated. During her retirement, Audrey was actively involved at the Courts of Columbus. The pleasure she took in card games, liturgy planning and volunteer pursuits kept her young and involved with many people over the years. The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their loving kindness, compassion and caring throughout her illness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Riverview Health Centre Foundation. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel at Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, on Friday, April 1 at 3:30 p.m. with Fr. Michael Koryluk officiating.
