Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE LIONEL GUIMOND It is with deep regret that we announce the sudden passing of George Lionel Guimond of Woodmore, MB, on Friday, March 25, 2005 at the age of 58. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rachel (Fisette); six children, Linette (Marc), Lionel (Trish), Louis (Candace), Suzanne (Duncan), Guylaine (Sylvain), Jerome (friend Rachel); 11 grandchildren; his parents; three brothers and four sisters. George was a wonderful husband, father and pepere. He was particularity fond of the outdoors, spending time hiking through the woods with family or repairing things in his shop. He was well known for salvaging many items, which later became very unique one-of-a-kind pieces. Fr. Tomasz will celebrate the funeral mass at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Tolstoi on Friday, April 1 at 11:00 a.m. Viewing will be held at the Vita Funeral Home on Thursday, March 31, 7:00 until 9:00 p.m., as well as a one half hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Tolstoi. Lunch will be served at the Tolstoi Senior Centre after mass. The pallbearers will be Marc Guimond (brother), Arthur Guimond (brother), Gerald Pelletier (friend of the family), Sylvain Barnabe (son-in-law), Marc Bowman (son-in-law) and Duncan Hasker (son-in-law). A special thank you to the Vita Paramedics, Vita Hospital Staff and the Health Sciences Centre Emergency Ward for their care, to friends, family for all their support and to Michael and staff at Vita Funeral Home for their kind service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice, or the Holy Trinity Church in Tolstoi. VITA FUNERAL HOME IN CARE OF ARRANGEMENTS.

Suzanne, May I extend my deepest condolences and prayers to you and your family at this very difficult time in your life. It is so hard to understand why such things happen, but hold onto your faith for comfort and healing.
