Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryERNEST DANIEL DUFRESNE (DUFF) June 4, 1944 - March 29, 2005 It is with great sadness that we the family of Ernest announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at the Health Sciences Centre. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Gladys; brothers, Lawrence (Denise), Clement (Lois), Kenneth (Cecile); sister Sharon (Les); as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his father Germain and brother Marcel. Ernest was born in McLennan, AB and raised in Girouxville, AB. Ernest received his teaching degree in Edmonton, AB and his masters in Lethbridge, AB. He went on to teach elementary school in Edmonton. He moved to Winnipeg 22 years ago where he tutored many students. Duff lived with great courage, having lived with Syringo Mylia, he spent 37 years in a wheel chair. The family would like to thank his many friends in Winnipeg who showed him love and support. Also a special thank you to his orderlies and home care especially the ones were with him long term. The family would also like to thank his many friends from Home For Growth, for the support, love and friendship during his time in Winnipeg. Duff left us with a special legacy, one of life expense, he never complained no matter what life unfolded. He taught us to except it, live with it, and move on. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating of Duff's life will be held Thursday, March 31 at 2:00 p.m. at La Paroisse du Precieux, Sang 200 Kenny St. with Fr. Maurice Jeanneau officiating.
