Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARRY HILDEBRAND With dignity, and the courage shown throughout his life, Harry Hildebrand passed away on Monday, March 28, 2005 at Concordia Hospital, with his family at his side. Left with precious memories of Dad's unconditional love, are sons, Garry and Ken (Judy) and daughter Diane; granddaughters, Leanne and Karla (Marshall); and great-grandchildren, Jesse, Mackenzie and Caleb. He will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Teen, Mary, and Anne (Abe); brothers, Ed, Jake, Jack (Sarah) and Hugo (Donna); and numerous nieces and nephews. Dad was predeceased by his beloved wife Dorothy (Dutche) and Cliff; his parents, John and Aganetha; sisters, Hattie, Peggy; and brothers, Menno and Peter. Dad was born November 6, 1916 in Siberfeld, MB, where he spent his early years. After their marriage in 1943, he and Mom moved to Winnipeg, where Dad worked at Burns Food for 37 years. During that time he devoted much of his energy to working with the union and served for 14 years as President. Dad spent his family life as a devoted husband and a nurturing and loving father. The family wishes to express their appreciation to friends and family, including the Burns coffee buddies, who kept in touch with Dad throughout his many years of retirement. Also, a grateful thank you to the doctors and nursing staff at Concordia Hospital for their excellent care and personal kindness to our family. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 1 at 1:00 p.m. at John Black Memorial United Church, 898 Henderson Hwy. Viewing prior to the service. Interment at Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald St., or the Diabetes Foundation of Manitoba, 114-233 Kennedy St. We love you Dad (Pops) KLASSEN FUNERAL HOME 1897 Henderson - North of McIvor - 338-0331
