Date of Passing: Mar 30, 2005
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE PERKINS March 12, 1909 - March 30, 2005 We'll miss our father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend, George. We'll miss his amazing memory for dates and events. We'll miss his fascinating, first-hand stories about life in the early part of the last century. Most of all, we'll miss the example he set for all of us by living his life with dignity, honesty and love of family. We take comfort in knowing he is now in the arms of his beloved wife, Esther (nee Chreptyk), who passed away in 1989 and his cherished son, Glenn, who passed away in 2004. George left us on March 30, 2005 at the young age of 96 years. He is survived by his son Kenn, daughter-in-law Barb, sisters, Mary and Irene, brother Tommy, grandchildren, Jim, Rob, Laura, Lynsay and Renee and his great-grandchildren. Service will be held at 11:00 am. Monday, April 4, 2005 at Grace Lutheran Church, 211 Kimberley Avenue. The service will be followed by a lunch at the church and interment at Elmwood Cemetery. We invite all of George's family and friends to join us in celebrating his remarkable life and exchanging stories of the many ways in which he touched every one of us.
