Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA (MARY) (NAN) NOLEN (nee UNGER) February 4, 1929 - March 31, 2005 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and friend Mary Nolen on Thursday, March 31, 2005. Mary is survived by her daughters, Gladys (Larry), Lorna and her son David (Sherri); sister Anne; brothers, Neil, and Jake; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, son, daughter, brothers, sisters, granddaughter and great-granddaughter. A retired security guard, Mary loved to spend her days playing double solitaire with her husband, building her latest puzzle, or playing Kinsmen bingo. Over many years everyone always gathered at Mary's house where everyone was always welcome, the door was always open and the coffee was always on. The family would like to thank the staff at Concordia Hospital for their support and kindness. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation is made to the Heart Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
