JAMES CARL BANNISH On Thursday, March 31, 2005 at the Health Sciences Centre, Jim Bannish, aged 78 years of Selkirk, Manitoba. Jim was predeceased by his wife Mavis on February 20, 2004. He is survived by his three sons, Greg (Ginette), Darrell (Barb) and Wayne (Linda); grandsons, Michael (Amy) and Daniel; sister Sophie Grochowich; brother Frank Bannish and his precious dog Muffy. He was born in Cloverdale, Manitoba on August 3, 1926. He worked at the Manitoba Rolling Mills, retiring in August of 1986. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and gardening. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of the ICU Unit at the Health Sciences Center and the nurses and doctors at the Selkirk General Hospital. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
