MARGARITA (RITA) GABRIELA WOLFF (nee MAYER) June 10, 1949 - March 30, 2005 Suddenly on March 30, 2005, Margarita passed away at her residence at the age of 55 years. Rita is survived by her loving husband Manfred; sons, Thomas (Dawn), Matthew; brothers, Alfred (Irene), Martin (Linda) and Walter; nephew Nicholas and niece Samantha and her mother Sofie Mayer. She was predeceased by her father Alfred Mayer. Rita was born in Karlsruhe, Germany and moved to Winnipeg in 1955. After graduating from River East Collegiate, she began her 37-year career with MTS. She started as an operator then was promoted first to Supervisor then Manager. In her spare time, Rita enjoyed gardening and spending weekends at Red Rock Lake with her family. Prayers will be said on Monday, April 4, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 5 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews Street with Rev. Fr. Diosdado Parrenas as celebrant.
