JOYCE BOHACH (nee SULYMA) Peacefully on April 2, 2005, at Deer Lodge Centre, Joyce Bohach, aged 85 years, of Winnipeg, passed away. Joyce was born in the R.M. of Kreuzberg (Fraserwood). She has lived in Vancouver, Toronto and for the past 23 years in Winnipeg. Joyce loved to watch her baseball games. In her earlier years she loved to play baseball, golf, bowling, going out dancing, playing cards with friends and reading in her spare time. Joyce was predeceased by five brothers, Nick, Fred, Steve, Paul and Mike; and two sisters, Irene and Ann. She leaves surviving brothers, Frank (Ann) of Kelowna, BC, Pete and Joe of Winnipeg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, April 6 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, April 7 at 10:30 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church, Gimli, with Fr. Peter Chorney officiating. Interment will follow in the North Foley Cemetery. Joyce would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Seven Oaks Hospital and at Deer Lodge Centre for the wonderful care she received. Pallbearers will be Stan Kostiukoao, Anton Biluk, John Sulyma and Darren Kristjanson. Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli in care of arrangements.
