Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH MANNESS STOWE It is with utmost sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Elizabeth (Betty) Manness Stowe (nee Fraser) at the Lions Manor on April 3, 2005. Predeceased by her first husband Edward Manness and second husband Cecil Stowe, infant son Ronald David and daughter-in-law Angela Manness. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Lillian (Peter) Unger; sons, Arnold (Colleen), Fred (Carol), Donald (Manda), Dale (Sharon); grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom was born on January 31, 1913 in Charleswood. She spent much of her life in Stuartburn, Woodmore, Miniota and later years in Winnipeg. Mom will always be remembered for her generosity, kindness, friendliness and her handicrafts, making quilts and knitting. Celebration of Mom's life will be held on Thursday, April 7 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. with viewing one half hour prior to service. Pastor Jim Poirier officiating. Interment to follow the service at the Greenridge Cemetery, Greenridge, MB.
