ADOLF GRAFENEDER It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Adolf Grafeneder at the Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 72. Left with cherished memories are Marianne, his wife of 51 years; children, Evelyn (David) and John (Maggie); and grandchildren, Tamara (Kevin), Wendy, Mathew, and Gordon. Adolf was born in Linz, Austria on July 8, 1932. He came to Canada with his young family in July of 1955. He was a master cabinet maker by trade and retired from Builder's Furniture after 36 years. Adolf was devoted to his family first. His next greatest joy was his cottage on Lake Winnipeg, where he spent many happy years with family and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the Health Sciences Centre, for the excellent care they provided for him. Flowers are gratefully declined. Should friends desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, R3L 0K6. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m., Friday, April 8 at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy., followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
