He was predeceased by his mother and father in Budapest, Hungary. He is survived by his ex-wife Heather Sherman, and his beloved son Richard and daughter-in-law Karen and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews in the States as well as his cat Shmook. He worked at various jobs such as a salesman, cabdriver and as a tool and dye maker. In a band he played the Electric Organ, Saxophone and Mouth Organ. He worked for several years at Standard Machine Works. He also worked at Dynamic Machine in Winnipeg until his retirement at age 65. He loved motorcycling when younger, and said the best years of his life were when he was driving his motorcycle. At that time Reg's favourite hangout was Country Style Donuts on Osborne where he made many friends. He loved the springtime the most because that's when everything came to life - it's ironic he passed away just as spring was starting. Reg, you were one of a kind, there will be an emptiness in all the lives you touched that will never be filled. Reg God bless you and take you in his arms and care and comfort you forever. Special thanks to Dr. Pilat and staff at Concordia Hospital for their kindness and caring. A funeral service will be held Thursday April 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. with viewing one half hour prior to service with interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
