Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALAIN ROCHON October 6, 1931 - April 5, 2005 Our loving Alain/Dad/Pepere suddenly passed away at home on April 5, 2005, at the age of 73 after fighting a lengthy battle with Asthma. Alain will be forever remembered for his kind heart, mischievous smile and competitive spirit by his loving wife Anna (nee Dugas); his son Ron (Nicole); and his daughter Lynn (Chris). He was Pepere to Adam, Marc, Crystal, Jared, Daniel and Katelyn. He was also Mon Oncle to numerous nephews and nieces. He leaves in his memory his twin sister Aline Grouette (Alain), his sister Bernice (Dick); as well as sisters-in-law, Jeanne (Lucien), Therese (Laurent); brothers-in-law, Hector (Gabrielle) and Come. He was predeceased by his father Raoul; mother Rosa (nee Remilliard); brothers, Ray and Denis. Alain was born and raised in La Salle and made this community his home for all of his life. In his earlier years he was very involved with his kids, volunteering many hours to the La Salle Sports Club with hockey and baseball. His cottage in Lac du Bonnet was his pride and joy and many hours were spent pulling his kids and grandchildren behind the boat, either skiing, tubing, knee boarding or whatever the toy of the day was. His yard was a focal point of his enjoyment and stopping him from working was a real challenge unless his kids and/or grandchildren were around. At the lake beer and wine were always on hand and in hand. His love of animals, especially his Taffy and Leo, will always be remembered. Giving treats to visiting family pets was always a highlight. His love of sports will always be remembered as will his competitive nature while playing Bocce with his gloating partner. He was employed for 38 years at Canada Cement and was a devoted employee and friend. Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 8 at La Salle Catholic Church, Father Gerald Michaud officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later date. The family would like to thank Dr. Permac and his staff for their loving care over the years. Alain/Dad/Pepere, our love and great memories will never be forgotten and we'll love you forever. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220
