Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN (JENNIE) MASYK (nee CHANOWSKI) Peacefully, with family at her side, our beloved Mother and Baba, Jean Masyk passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at the age of 75 years, widow of Paul Masyk. Jean is survived by her four children, Linda (Ted Tkachyk), Sylvia (Dennis Wiwat), Dennis and Vicky; her grandchildren, Jackie, Kristy, Nicholas, Cheyenne, Harley and Jeremy; her sisters, Carol Steinke, Marion Patrick and Emily Walowetz (Alex); brothers, Eddy (Eileen), Frank (Mary-Jane) and Mike (Jean); along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother Stan; and infant granddaughter Mandy. Born on February 2, 1930 in Anola, MB, she moved to Winnipeg at which time, she met and married Paul and raised their family, firstly, on their farm in St. Germain, then Parkdale and finally settled on McMillan Avenue in Winnipeg. The family would like to thank the staff of River East Personal Care Home for their devoted, loving care. Funeral service will take place on Friday, April 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road, with viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Chaplain Mark Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mom's memory to The Canadian Mental Health Association - Manitoba Division at 836 Ellice Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 0C2.
