Her three great-grandchildren, Thomas, Colten and Erica will miss their Baba. She is also survived by her siblings, Anita (Ed) Weiss, Sonia (Raymond) Martel, Donald (Diane) Kuch and Tom (Cathy) Kuch; as well as her sister-in-law Jane; and numerous nieces and nephews. Frances was born in Winnipeg on November 22, 1931 and was raised in Matlock, MB. She later moved to Winnipeg where she worked and raised a family, as well as her three youngest siblings after the unexpected passing of her mother. Frances enjoyed travelling and spending time at the cottage. Her family was always her #1 priority in her life. She was proud of her heritage, and everyone enjoyed her Ukrainian cooking. Some of her favourite pastimes were bingo, playing crib and gardening. The family wishes to thank Dr. Louie Chung and the staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital for their care. Also a huge thank you to our many family and friends for their kindness and love shown to us. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with Edward Hamm officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Flowers respectfully declined, but donations may be made in Frances' memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Seven Oaks Hospital Foundation. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
