Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE TINA SISSONS (nee GINTER) Suddenly on Sunday, April 3, 2005, Alice Tina Sissons, passed away at her residence in the Lions Prairie Manor, Portage la Prairie at the age of 67 years. Alice was predeceased by her beloved husband William Thomas Sissons; parents, Isaac and Margaret Ginter; brother Isaac (Evelyn) Ginter, sister Margaret (Ben) Parenteau, brother Cornelius Ginter and twin brothers, Jacob and Peter Ginter. She is lovingly remembered by sister Mary Bergen of Medicine Hat, AB, brother John (Hazel) Ginter of Portage la Prairie, MB, sister Chris (Henry) Dyck of Carberry, MB, brother Dave (Kay) Ginter of Thunder Bay, ON, brother Ed (Rita) Ginter of Carberry, MB, sister Evelyn Pourier of Winnipeg, MB, twin sister Alvena (Tom) Paul of Thunder Bay, ON and special caregiver Gayle McKenzie. For enjoyment Alice enjoyed music, especially playing the organ. Service to celebrate Alice's life will be held on Saturday, April 9 at 1:30 p.m. at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel with Rev. Marg Scott officiating. Viewing will take place prior to the service. In keeping with Alice's wishes, cremation is to follow with burial at the High Bluff Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Alice's memory to Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9 or to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Manitoba Branch, 200 - 55 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 1L8.
