FRANCES MARY VERSTRAETE (WAUGH) Frances passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at the Concordia Hospital. She was predeceased by her husbands, Earl Waugh and Andre Verstraete; her brothers and sisters, Madge, Eleanor, Kitty, Len, Peggy and Tommy. Frances is survived by her sister, Lillian; son Rick (Lynne) Waugh and their children, David, Steve and Chris; son Ron (Claire) Waugh and their children, Scott and Geoff; daughter Donna (John) Becker. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Mother will be remembered for her devotion to her family. Her greatest joy in life was being with her grandsons at the cottage at Lee River and the nightly card games around the kitchen table. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Jean Portras for her kind and loving care of mother, the Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Service, for which her husband Earl served, the Staff of Concordia Hospital for the professional and compassionate care given during her stay there and to Dr. Craig Hildahl Flowers are gratefully declined. Friends so wishing may make a donation in Mother's memory to the Manitoba M.S. Society, 400-141 Bannatyne Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3B 0R3. A private family service has been held. A Mother's creed to my family. If I could have spoken before I died, These are the words I would have replied. This life for me is truly passed, I loved you all to the very last. So weep not for me, but courage take. And love each other for my sake.
