ROSE MARIE GILLIES (1920 - 2005) Rose, the cherished wife of the late Daniel (2003) slipped quietly away from us on April 4. Rose was the most wonderful mother to Bonnie (Don) Cunningham, Glenda (Gordon) Hatton and Diane (John) Eckmire. To her 12 grandchildren, Trevor, Devin, Elliot, Kayli, Tracy, Tara, Chris, Scott (1975), Elise, Jason, Carrie Anne and Susanna, she was cherished and respected. She was a loyal servant of her God, Jehovah, and enjoyed her time in the public ministry and in association with her spiritual brothers and sisters in her congregation. Many will remember her home on Banning Street, where the coffeepot was always on, there was always a warm welcome, where Rose surrounded herself with people she loved and who dearly loved her. A memorial service will be held Saturday on April 9, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1877 Inkster Blvd., at 3:00 p.m. If desired, donations may be made in her name to The Watchtower, Box 4100 Halton Hills, ON L7G 4Y4.
