GERHARD JAHNKE On Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at the Morris General Hospital, Gerhard Jahnke, aged 90 years, passed away peacefully. Gerhard is survived by his wife Laura (nee Mazinke) and his four children, Delaine (Andy) Colley, Allan, Dianne (Wayne) Klassen, and Loren. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Pamela (Shane), Jennifer (Cameron), Kimberley, Darcy, Marisa and Stephanie; his great-grandchildren, Dylan and Fallynn; as well as his sister Minnie (Alfons) Gaenswein and numerous nieces and nephews. Gerhard was born on November 30, 1914 at Emerson. He was predeceased by his parents Michael and Henrietta; three brothers, five sisters, one niece, and grandson Matthew in infancy. He will always be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and son. Funeral services will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church, Friedensthal, on Monday April 11 at 2:00 p.m., Pastor Michael Cone officiating. Interment to follow at the Friedensthal Cemetery.
