She was predeceased by her husband Cecil; brothers, Tom, Jim, Ollie; sisters, Margaret and Inga and son-in-law Lawrence. Fern taught school until she was married. While in Deloraine she was very dedicated to her church. She was involved with U.C.W. and Sunday school working her way from teacher to superintendent. She also worked through all the steps in Eastern Star up to Matron. In Dauphin she was involved with her church and Sunday school while passionately raising her two grandchildren, Dan and Elaine. She retained her strong faith to the end, even when she was unable to attend church. She will be remembered for her sense of humour, big smile, kind heart, positive attitude and compassion for others. Her extraordinary love for her family will be a cherished memory forever. We love you and we all miss you.
