VERA GOUZECKY May 6, 1924 - April 8, 2005 With saddened hearts we announce after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, our beloved mother Vera passed away peacefully on Friday, April 8, 2005 at her residence at the Luther Home. Mom was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1988, her daughter Annie in 1990 and daughter Maryann in 2003. She is survived by her daughter Helen (Carol); son Paul (Joan); daughter Debbie (Wayne); and son Wayne (Rosie); and sons-in-law, John and Darryl. Baba had 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly. Vera enjoyed playing bingo with her friends as well as watching hockey and football. A heartfelt appreciation to all the nurses and staff from the Luther Home for their wonderful care and compassion for our mother and her family. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 12 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Vera's memory may be made to the Manitoba Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM 220 Hespeler Ave. at Henderson Hwy. 668-3151
